Konstantions P. Giotakis was born in Manoliassa Dodonis of Ioannina in 1953. He is a graduate of the Athens School of Fine
Arts and studied painting at the workshops of
N. Nikolaou and G. Mavroidi, with praise on the semi-nude colour, studied sculpture at the workshop of T. Panourgia and Mosaic Art at the workshop of I. Kolefa.
Between 1978 and 1984 he worked with hagiographer G. Hohlidaki, a student of F. Kontoglou, illustrated many Temples and has worked independently since then.
He stood as the president of Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece from April 2008 until February 2009, vice president from 2006 to 2008 and secretary from 2004 to 2006.
He has been unfailingly practicing the sacred art of Orthodox Hagiography for 31 years. He is constantly researching both the forms and the techniques through the ages. He has decorated several temples with mural paintings and illustrated icons in Greece and abroad.

In 2010 he took place at the exhibition titled “Tracking Constantinople” that opened at the Theological School of Halki by Patriarch Bartholomew.
